Equinor extends North Sea Breidablikk floatel charter

Equinor has extended Floatel International’s contract for the Floatel Superior accommodation semisubmersible at the Grane Field complex in the Norwegian North Sea.

OSLO, Norway — Equinor has extended Floatel International’s contract for the Floatel Superior accommodation semisubmersible at the Grane Field complex in the Norwegian North Sea.

The rig will now support activities related to the Breidablikk subsea tieback to the Grane platform through March 31, 2023.

Equinor has an option to further extend the charter.
