DELFT, the Netherlands — Allseas’ pipelay vessel Audacia has established a new production record in Malaysian waters, the company claims, installing 4 km of pipeline in 24 hours.

The previous best was 3.8 km.

Audacia is laying an 80-km gas export line for a new field development offshore Sarawak, with Allseas’ Fortitude vessel providing support, executing survey and crossing works.

This is Audacia’s first job offshore Malaysia, with the project managed from Allseas’ new Malaysian office in Kuala Lumpur.
