SKUDENESHAVN, Norway — TotalEnergies UK is taking Solstad Offshore’s Normand Falnes platform supply vessel (PSV) for a five-year contract to support its operations in the UK North Sea, starting in November.

This is one of the first long-term deals awarded in the UK sector for a battery-hybrid installed PSV, Solstad claimed, adding that the technology is being designed to limit fuel consumption and emissions.
