WARREN, Rhode Island – ABS will class the four crew transfer vessels (CTVs) that Blount Boats is building for American Offshore Services to serve wind farms on the US East Coast.
The 30-m (98-ft)-long, Jones Act-compliant CTVs are expected to be delivered in 2023 and 2024.
Marcia Blount, president of Blount Boats, said: “A hybrid-ready CTV is a fitting addition to the new and growing offshore wind industry in the United States.”
