BOMLØ, Norway -- Offshore support vessel owner Eidesvik has signed an agreement with Yxney Maritime to adopt the Maress cloud-based system for data-driven de-carbonization of six offshore vessels.
Eidesvik’s fleet has previously tested technologies such as LNG, batteries, and earlier this year a new project started to install an ammonia-driven fuel cell system on one of the vessels operating in the Norwegian sector for Equinor.
Maress will provide insight into fuel consumption and emissions from the fleet.
