BERGEN, Norway – GC Rieber Shipping’s 50/50 joint venture OOO Polarus has entered into new charter agreements with Sakhalin Energy Investment Co. for the crew-boats Polar Baikal and Polar Piltun.
The contracts are firm for the 2020 season, with an option to extend for the 2021 season. Both-boats will operate in the Sea of Okhotsk offshore Sakhalin in Russia, supporting operations at the Piltun-Astokhskoye oil field and the Lunskoye gas field.

Shearwater has terminated its ship management agreement with GC Rieber Shipping for the seismic vessels Polar Empress, Polar Duchess, Polar Duke and Polar Marquis, with effect from August 2020.
