Modified carousel fitted to Normand Clipper

WALLSEND, UK – Swan Hunter has completed the mobilization of a 4,000-metric ton (4,409-ton) carousel onto the construction vessel Normand Clipper for Global Marine Group.

The company’s yard in northeast England performed structural modifications to the carousel to facilitate long-term integration onto the vessel, which has a three-year charter, and extension options.

Another mobilization of a 2,000-metric ton (2,204-ton) modular carousel spread is due to follow this spring.
