LUXEMBOURG – Pacific Drilling has issued an update on its deepwater drillship fleet.

Murphy Oil Corp. has awarded the Pacific Sharav a two-well contract offshore Mexico. The day rate is $230,000. The contract includes a one-well option and is expected to run from November 2020 to February 2021.

In addition, the Pacific Meltem is mobilizing from Las Palmas to the US Gulf of Mexico.
