TotalEnergies produces first oil from Lapa South-West tieback offshore Brazil

The three new wells will boost production from the FPSO serving the deepwater Lapa Field.

TotalEnergies has started up the subsea Lapa South-West project in the Santos Basin, which is 300 km offshore Brazil.

The development features three new wells connected to the existing Lapa FPSO, raising production from the Lapa Field by 25,000 bbl/d.

The other partners are Repsol Sinopec Brazil and Shell.
