Farstad Shipping has taken delivery of the light construction/IMR vessel Far Superior from Vard Group.

AALESUND, Norway – Farstad Shipping has taken delivery of the light construction/IMR vessel Far Superior (Vard Design 3 17) from Vard Group.
Vard Vung Tau in Vietnam built the vessel, which has a firm five-year contract with TechnipFMC Norge.
The vessel has been purpose built forTechnipFMC Norge to perform light construction work, IMR and other subsea related activities to 3,000 m (9,842 ft) water depth.
Its overall length is 98.1 m (322 ft), with a beam of 21.5 m (70.5 ft) and a deck area of 875 sq m (9,418 sq ft). It is equipped with an AHC offshore crane with a 150-ton lifting capacity, two work ROVs from Oceaneering, and accommodation for 85 personnel.
