Farstad PSVs start support work offshore Egypt

Farstad Shipping has won a contract to support a field development project offshore Egypt from an unnamed international operator.

AALESUND, Norway – Farstad Shipping has won a contract to support a field development project offshore Egypt from an unnamed international operator.

The platform supply vesselsFar Server and Far Serenade should have started the 3.5-month campaign, with options to extend by 30 days.

Offshore Congo, Farstad’s PSVFar Starling has started a one-month contract to support a “ready for operation” program for Petro Services on behalf of Total, again with extension options.

In the UK North Sea, Fairfield Betula has contracted the PSVFar Symphony for 12 months, starting in April, and extendable by a further six months.

Finally, Lundin Norway has taken Farstad’s anchor handling tug supply vesselFar Sigma on a one-month contract in support of a well drilled by the semisubmersible Island Innovator.
