GEORGETOWN, Cayman Islands –BP Angola (Block 18) BV has awarded an $80-million contract to Subsea 7 Inc. for Life of Field support services in block 18's Greater Plutonio development.
Subsea 7 will provide project management and engineering for maintenance, repair, and light construction, including tie-ins of production and water injection lines to several block 18 subsea wells.
The three-year contract begins immediately and has a two-year extension option. Subsea 7 also will provide two Hercules ROVs for BP's deepwater support vessel.
