GALVESTON, Texas – Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. chose the Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition in Galveston, Texas, from March 2-4 to emphasize its addition of a new subsea division to its upstream oil and gas services to give technical coverage from topsides through subsea design.
In addition to having Jacobs’ size and presence around the world, the subsea operations also draw on Jacobs’ customer-recognized procedures and non-biased approach to a project, says Randy Seehausen, operations manager-Subsea for Jacobs Upstream. The unique approach to the process of managing a project ensures customer satisfaction stage-by-stage, he says. With no marine assets or proprietary products, impartial project concept selection and economic studies are facilitated.
Jacobs Subsea has divided its services into four broad categories: 1. Flow assurance 2. Subsea production 3. Risers 4. Flowlines and pipelines.
