i-Tech to supply ROV system for newbuild semisub La Muralla III

ABERDEEN, UK -- Industrial Perforadora de Campeche (IPC) has awarded i-Tech a five-year, $10-million ROV contract.

i-Tech will supply an advanced newbuild 3,000-m (9,843-ft) rated work-class ROV system onboard the newbuild semisubmersible La Muralla III. The company will also provide IPC with ROV operations, maintenance, and management services. Offshore operations will begin upon the rig’s arrival in Mexico, currently scheduled for 4Q 2010.
