Statoil orders more trees for Tyrihans

Statoil (OSE:STL) has contracted FMC Technologies (NYSE:FTI) for additional subsea equipment for the producing Tyrihans field in the Norwegian Sea.

HOUSTON – Statoil (OSE:STL) has contracted FMC Technologies (NYSE:FTI) for additional subsea equipment for the producing Tyrihans field in the Norwegian Sea.

The $39-million order covers supply of two subsea trees and three choke modules. Equipment is due for delivery next year and will be engineered and manufactured at FMC facilities in Norway and Scotland.
