Oceaneering to supply umbilicals for deepwater OCTP development off Ghana

Eni Ghana has contracted the Oceaneering International/GE Oil & Gas consortium to supply subsea equipment for the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) block project offshore Ghana.

HOUSTON – Eni Ghana has contracted the Oceaneering International/GE Oil & Gas consortium to supply subsea equipment for the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) block project offshore Ghana.

Oceaneering’s scope, valued at more than $100 million, covers 51 km (32 mi) of electro-hydraulic, steel tube umbilicals.

Manufacturing is expected to start soon at the company’s umbilical facility in Panama City, Florida, and should be completed in late 2017.
