TotalEnergies awards umbilical recovery contract offshore Angola

TotalEnergies EP Angola has contracted Petro Services and Ocean Installer to perform umbilical recovery services related to the Pazflor FPSO in Block 17 offshore Angola.

This is Ocean Installer’s second participation on TotalEnergies EP Angola projects this year, while Petro Services has other ongoing long-term contracts with TotalEnergies in Angola.

STAVANGER, Norway — TotalEnergies EP Angola has contracted Petro Services and Ocean Installer to perform umbilical recovery services related to the Pazflor FPSO in Block 17 offshore Angola.

Petro Services will handle overall project management and execute in-country support operations from Luanda and Monaco.

As the main subcontractor, Ocean Installer is responsible for the recovery and re-installation of the production umbilical, along with any associated topside operations. The company will support the program from its offices in Houston and Stavanger.
