Aker Solutions awarded umbilicals for Ndungu subsea tieback

FORNEBU, Norway — Azule Energy, a bp and Eni company, has contracted Aker Solutions to manufacture subsea umbilicals for the Ndungu project in Block 15/06 offshore Angola.

The scope includes delivery of eight infield umbilicals plus spares with a combined length of more than 25 km.

Aker Solutions will manage execution, engineering and manufacture at its sites in Fornebu and Moss, Norway, with delivery scheduled for fourth-quarter 2024.

The Ndungu Field is part of the Integrated West Hub project in Block 15/06. Aker Solutions is also supplying umbilicals for the Agogo Field development.

Yesterday TechnipFMC also received an award by Azule Energy to supply flexible pipe for its Ndungu project.
