TechnipFMC secures large subsea contract for Búzios

NEWCASTLE, UK and HOUSTON – Petrobras has awarded TechnipFMC a subsea EPCI contract for the Búzios 6 project in the presalt Santos basin offshore Brazil.

The contract covers engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of flexible and rigid pipe, umbilicals, pipeline end terminals, rigid jumpers, umbilical termination assemblies, and a mooring system.

The flexible pipe, umbilicals and subsea structures, as well as some of the rigid pipe, will be manufactured in Brazil.
