TechnipFMC inks flexible pipe contract from Petrobras

The contract covers the design, engineering and manufacture of flexible pipe for water injection and gas lift.

TechnipFMC has secured a contract by Petrobras to supply flexible pipe for the presalt fields offshore Brazil, following completion of a tender.

The contract covers the design, engineering and manufacture of flexible pipe for water injection and gas lift.

TechnipFMC said the contract value is worth between $250 million and $500 million.

Jonathan Landes, president of Subsea with TechnipFMC, said, “With this award, we will utilize our global manufacturing capabilities to assist with the continued development of presalt reserves.”
