Offshore staff
HOUSTON – Santos NA (19-12) has awarded McDermott International a subsea EPCI contract for the Bayu-Undan Infill Well Phase 3C project in the Timor Sea.
The location is around 310 mi (500 km) offshore Darwin and 124 mi (200 km) from the southeast coast of Timor-Leste.
Work on the Phase 3C project started in May. McDermott’s scope, to be managed from the company’s office in Perth, relates to the tieback of a single in-field well to existing facilities through re-use of an existing flexible flowline, along with a new umbilical and other infrastructure.
