Next-phase drilling starts at Bayu-Undan in the Timor Sea

ADELAIDE, Australia – The jackup Noble Tom Prosser has started the Phase 3C infill drilling campaign on the Bayu-Undan field offshore Timor-Leste.

The three new production wells will develop an additional 20 MMboe of gas and liquids reserves, extending field life and production from the offshore facilities and the Darwin LNG plant.

Operator Santos expects first production during 3Q.

Other partners are SK E&S, INPEX, Eni, JERA, and Tokyo Gas.
