HOUSTON – LLOG Exploration Offshore L.L.C. has contracted Trendsetter Engineering Inc. to provide subsea connection systems for the Taggart development in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
The company is slated to deliver the TC7 clamp connectors and ancillary equipment in 4Q 2021. The connection systems are designed and manufactured in Houston.
LLOG sanctioned the Taggart development in June 2020. Initial development plans include the completion and tieback of two wells to the Williams-owned Devils Tower spar in Mississippi Canyon block 773. First production is expected in the first half of 2022.
