ABERDEEN, UK – Seatronics has contracted OceanTools to supply its new PowerLOG datalogger with integral battery packs.
These will be deployed on behalf of an unnamed subsea contractor.
The package will comprise the PowerLOG units and an OceanDISP subsea data display, allowing the user to view pressure sensor readouts in real time, while simultaneously logging the data for future analysis.
For this project, the PowerLOG will power and measure pressures from multiple pressure sensors up to 20,000 psi (1,379 bar) and at depths of 4,000 m (13,123 ft).
