Dolphin Drilling wins offshore India rig tender

Dolphin Drilling has confirmed that it was the lowest bidder in the Oil India rig tender for a 14-month firm assignment.

OSLO – Dolphin Drilling has confirmed that it was the lowest bidder in the Oil India rig tender for a 14-month firm assignment, with options for a further seven months.

The company says that it bid the semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin, and that contract negotiations will start shortly. The drilling campaign should start in 3Q 2024.
