Offshore staff
LONDON — Neptune Energy has awarded Sentinel Marine a three-year, £10 million contract (US$12.17 million) to provide offshore support vessel service to the Cygnus gas field complex in the UK southern North Sea.
Sentinel, which has supported operations at the field, will continue to deploy its multi-role Cygnus Sentinel emergency response and rescue vessel, with the same vessel scheduled to assist an upcoming drilling campaign on Cygnus.
According to Neptune, the fuel-efficient, multi-role specification allows the vessel to provide both emergency response and platform supply, reducing costs and CO2 emissions, and greater efficiency.
The contract includes two one-year extensions.
