Coral FLNG vessel on track for year-end yard departure

The Coral-Sul FLNG vessel should sail from the Samsung Heavy Industries yard in South Korea by year-end, according to Technip Energies.

PARIS – The completed wellhead platform and jacket for Petronas’ Kasawari development offshore Malaysia has been loaded out for installation, Technip Energies reported in its latest results statement.

Among the company’s other current projects, topsides and offshore preparation works continue for Eni’s Coral FLNG off Mozambique. The vessel should sail from the Samsung Heavy Industries yard in South Korea by year end.

Twelve loading arms have been shipped for the Hong Kong offshore LNG project.

The company has also secured a contract for what it claims will be the world’s first liquefied CO2 marine loading arms, for the Northern Lights carbon capture and storage project in the North Sea.

Finally, the company is providing project management consultancy services to Vulcain Engineering for the development and operation of an Iberdrola-operated wind farm offshore France.
