Solstad books multiple contracts, extensions

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway Solstad Offshore ASA has won multiple new medium-term contracts and contract extensions.

The platform supply vessel (PSV) Normand Leader has been contracted to support a project offshore Australia. The contract is scheduled to start in 3Q 2021 and gives utilization for the vessel throughout 2021.

Charterers of the PSV Normand Tortuga have declared options to extend the contract until the end of 2021. The vessel operates in New Zealand.

Shell Brasil Ltd. has contracted the PSV Normand Swift. The contract is scheduled to commence in 4Q 2021.

The PSVs Normand Sitella, Sea Spear, and Sea Spark have been contracted to support a seasonal drilling campaign outside the North Sea. The contracts are expected to start this month.

Charterers of the PSVs Normand Serenade and Normand Arctic have extended the contracts to 4Q 2021. Both vessels operate in Norway.

The company’s anchor handlers currently trading the North Sea spot market have been awarded multiple project contracts in 3Q and 4Q 2021.

The total firm duration of the contracts is about 1,000 vessel days, and there are extension options.
