Dubai Petroleum, ExxonMobil terminate Shelf jackup contracts

DUBAI, UAE Shelf Drilling has provided an update on its jackup fleet.

Belayim Petroleum Co. has awarded the Trident 16 a one-year extension offshore Egypt.

In March, the Trident II started its three-year contract with ONGC offshore India.

Dubai Petroleum issued early termination notices to the Shelf Drilling Tenacious and Shelf Drilling Mentor. The contract end dates are September 2020 and October 2020, respectively.

Eni has suspended operations on the Key Manhattan and Key Singapore offshore Italy and Tunisia, respectively.

In April, the Shelf Drilling Resourceful completed its contract with Chevron offshore Nigeria.

This month, the Parameswara completed its contract with HOEC offshore India.

The High Island II planned out of service period has shifted to 4Q 2020/1Q 2021. The rig is under contract with Saudi Aramco.

The Shelf Drilling Enterprise is expected to start its contract with Chevron offshore Thailand in September 2020.
