Norwegian, Korean groups jointly target FPSO bids

FORNEBU, Norway – Kvaerner has agreed to collaborate with Samsung Heavy Industries and Aker Solutions on joint delivery of upcoming FPSO contracts.

The trio have identified several prospects for FPSO field developments in the next few years, especially in the northern hemisphere.

By combining their capabilities, they aim to provide a competitive offering, and the response from potential customers has been positive, Kvaerner said.
