    Total re-engages Solstad for offshore South Africa well support

    Total E&P South Africa has contracted Solstad Offshore to provide two large anchor handling tug supply vessels, Normand Drott and Normand Prosper.

    The anchor handling tug supply vessel Normand Prosper will support Total’s next planned drilling campaign in block 11B/12B offshore South Africa.

    SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – Total E&P South Africa has contracted Solstad Offshore to provide two large anchor handling tug supply vessels, Normand Drott and Normand Prosper.

    They will support Total’s next planned drilling campaign in block 11B/12B offshore South Africa, with the program starting during the first half of next year and set to last for up to 280 days, not including mob/demobilization time.

    Solstad also supported Total’s previous campaign in the region during 4Q 2018/1Q 2019.
