Sept. 2, 2025

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has signed an agreement with Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam) for a joint offshore wind project in Vietnam’s south-central region.

According to CIP’s recent news release, this will likely be one of the country’s first offshore wind developments, and it should help establish the formation of a local supply chain.

CIP is developing the project with Copenhagen Offshore Partners.

The agreement is said to build on a memorandum of understanding signed in March 2024 by both parties. Teams from both organizations have since been sharing knowledge and technical expertise, CIP added, while investigating further opportunities for joint projects.
