UTRECHT, Netherlands  Recently, the Mammoet team in Italy assisted with the load-out of two jackets (3,300t each), which have been fabricated in the port of Arbatax (Sardinia).

With help of the company's self-propelled modular transporters, the jackets have been transported onto a barge so cargo would be ready for travel. The final destination is a wind farm in the seas of Scotland, Mammoet said on its LinkedIn.

Last month Mammoet secured contracts for two large offshore wind projects in the US, both of which begin in 2023. Together, the two contracts cover a range of port scopes, including the load-in, load-out, handling and temporary storage of XXL monopiles, plus the pre-assembly of turbines in a US marshalling port.
