Offshore staff
ABU DHABI, UAE – World Marine Offshore (WMO), a European client of self‐propelled, self‐elevating support vessel operator Gulf Marine Services (GMS), has reportedly filed for bankruptcy.
The company has contracted GMS to support construction and development of an offshore wind farm in France, which was due for completion in the current quarter.
GMS, which has outstanding receivables from WMO of around Eur4 million ($4.34 million), is investigating the intentions of the trustee of the bankruptcy with regard to the contract, and will act to recover the sum outstanding and protect its rights as a creditor.
