DARLINGTON, England  Subsea Innovation, part of Tekmar Group, has successfully completed the design, build and in-house testing of a bespoke Bellmouth Repair Clamp for an offshore installer.

Using a "unique clamping design," the Bellmouth Repair Clamp was installed on an offshore wind farm in fourth-quarter 2022, the company said.

In October Subsea Innovation completed the design, build and delivery of 29 Pipe-in-Pipe (PIP) Waterstops to TechnipFMC for a subsea development project in the Gulf of Mexico. The company said those were delivered to a "demanding client schedule," achieved by working closely with its supply chain and TechnipFMC.

The company added, "We further expedited the delivery by applying knowledge gained from our recently concluded PIP R&D program. This contributed to the successful first-time pass of pressure and heat temperature factory acceptance tests at our premises in Darlington, UK, and post-bend pressure tests conducted at the client's premises in the USA."

Subsea Innovation’s Offshore Service Team was on hand in the US to support testing and onsite installation of the PIP waterstops.
