ST BRIEUC, France — The first four jacket foundations have been installed for the St Brieuc wind farm offshore Brittany, northwest France, following load-out and transportation from Spain.
Kent designed the foundations for Ailes Marines. Other parties involved in the project are developer Iberdrola, Navantia Windar and Van Oord.
The jackets were connected to drilled and grouted piles.
Saint-Brieuc, due to start operations next year, will have a total installed capacity of 496 MW.
