OMS, Alliance enter offshore Taiwan wind venture

OMS International has signed an MOU with Alliance Energy, targeting opportunities in Taiwan’s offshore wind sector.

BRISTOL, UK – Subsea services company OMS International (OMSi) has signed an MOU with Alliance Energy, targeting opportunities in Taiwan’s offshore wind sector.

The Taiwanese government aim to develop 9 GW of offshore wind capacity between 2026 and 2031.  

The main areas of focus for OMSi are to provide subsea operational project support and O&M services.

The company is a specialist in offshore survey, offshore subsea construction support (foundation installation and subsea cable laying related works) and offshore O&M.

Its Taiwan CEO Koh Meng Guan has over 35 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas and wind farm construction services sectors.
