Global Energy Group joins Salamander floating wind farm studies

CORK, Ireland – Simply Blue Energy and partner Subsea 7 have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate with Global Energy Group (GEG) on the design, development, and planning of the Salamander floating wind project offshore northeast Scotland.
Previously the partners entered an agreement to work with Ocergy to assess the latter’s floating foundation concept.
They will work with GEG to maximize input of the Scottish supply chain into the floating platform content.
