Repsol gains outright ownership of UK North Sea fields

Repsol has completed a transaction with Sinopec giving it the remaining share of the UK North Sea joint venture Repsol Sinopec Resources UK.

ABERDEEN, UK — Repsol completed a transaction with Sinopec Nov. 1 that gives it the remaining share of the UK North Sea joint venture Repsol Sinopec Resources UK.

The agreement, first announced in April, was subject to certain conditions.

The company will be renamed Repsol Resources UK.
