OSLO, Norway – Heerema Marine Contractors’ crane vessel Sleipnir has installed multiple topsides and bridges at the Tyra complex in the Danish North Sea.
According to Noreco, a partner in the Tyra field redevelopment, the vessel lifted the three 3,485-t wellhead and riser platforms onto the pre-installed jackets at Tyra West, and the 5,584-t accommodation unit onto the jacket at Tyra East. The program lasted 10 days.
Seven of the eight platforms are now in their final position.
