LONDONEnQuest restored four wells to production last year at the Magnus field in the East Shetland basin of the UK North Sea, the company said in its latest review of operations.

The program included a coiled tubing intervention campaign.

Following repairs to a compressor gear box failure, both process trains on the platform are now in operation.

In the same region, the company will work this year on a development plan for the heavy-oil Bressay field.

Decommissioning work continues at the Heather and Thistle fields. Heather’s well P&A campaign is progressing, and the company is reviewing results of its engagement with potential topside removal contractors ahead of a contract award.

At Thistle, the focus has been on preparing the platform for start of P&A campaign this year.

Finally, after commissioning last month of a new riser system and pipeline at PM8/Seligi offshore Malaysia, all production wells are back onstream.
