Thirty-one companies submitted applications for Norway’s APA 2021 licensing round.

OSLO, Norway – Thirty-one companies submitted applications for Norway’s APA 2021 licensing round, which opened on June 9.

This year more acreage was offered in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea, and Barents Sea.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate expect to award new production licenses in early 2022.
