    Bilfinger to inspect Total’s Danish North Sea platforms

    MANNHEIM, Germany – Total E&P Denmark has awarded Bilfinger a €40-million ($48.7-million) contract for offshore inspection services.

    Bilfinger’s Engineering & Maintenance Europe division, working from offices in Esbjerg, will start the five-year program (with extension options) in July.

    Services will include advanced non-destructive testing (ANDT) techniques, and the program will cover all Total’s facilities in the Danish North Sea.

    In March, Altera Infrastructure Production awarded Bilfinger Salamis UK a three-year agreement to provide conventional and ANDT services on Altera-operated UK offshore assets.
