Altera lengthens Bilfinger Salamis North Sea support arrangement

ABERDEEN, UK – Altera Infrastructure Production has awarded Bilfinger Salamis UK a three-year contract to provide offshore execution services, including inspection and enactment deployments.

Under the agreement the company will extend its existing arrangement with Altera, providing various conventional and advanced non-destructive testing services on Altera’s operated assets in the UK.

Bilfinger Salamis UK has worked with Altera (formerly Teekay) since 2014, providing maintenance and environmental services on the FPSOs Petrojarl I, Foinaven, Petrojarl Banff, Voyageur Spirit and Hummingbird Spirit.

Work has ranged from surface preparation and coating application; insulation and cladding; fireproofing; scaffolding and access provision; to vessel and tank cleaning; rope access, and environmental services.
