Norway industrial action called off following mediation

STAVANGER, Norway – The Norwegian Oil and Gas Association (NOROG) and the trade union SAFE have reached an agreement on a dispute that could have disrupted operations at various offshore fields.

Following a successful mediation, there will now be no strike at the Mongstad oil reception terminal on Norway’s west coast that receives production from Johan Sverdrup and other North Sea field centers.
