Drydocks World delivers CALM buoys for offshore Oman terminal

DUBAI, UAE – Drydocks World has completed construction of two catenary anchor leg mooring (CALM) buoys for the Ras Markaz Crude Oil Park project.

The clients are Bluewater Energy Services, China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering, and Oman Tank Terminal Co.

The buoys, each with a maximum transfer capacity of 8,000 cu m/hr (282,517 cu m/hr), will be moored at a crude oil storage terminal off the coast of Oman, and joined by a pipeline end manifold (also fabricated by Drydocks World) with a design pressure of 48 Barg.
