Yinson FPSO on course for Jubarte Field offshore Brazil

The FPSO Maria Quitéria should arrive at the Jubarte Field in the Campos Basin during the third quarter, operator Petrobras said in an update.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — The FPSO Maria Quitéria should arrive at the Jubarte Field in the Campos Basin during the third quarter, operator Petrobras said in an update.

It started its voyage from the yard in China in May. Following its arrival, hookup and commissioning, the platform is due to start operations ahead of schedule during fourth-quarter 2024.

The presalt Jubarte Field is offshore Espírito Santo. The FPSO, chartered from Yinson, has a production capacity of 100,000 bbl/d of oil and can process 5 MMcm of gas.

Onboard decarbonization technologies include a combined cycle power generation system and FGRU (closed flare).
