Posco awarded PSC offshore Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Petronas has awarded Posco International operatorship of a production sharing contract for block PM524 offshore Peninsular Malaysia.
Posco will hold an 80% interest, in partnership with Petronas subsidiary PCSB (20%).
The block is in the Malay basin, and is close to producing fields including Tangga Barat that supply gas to the Peninsular Malaysia market.
