ABERDEEN, UK – Bureau Veritas has presented its latest decommissioning guide at the Decom Offshore 2018 conference.

‘Decommissioning on the UK Continental Shelf – an overview of regulations’ is said to provide up-to-date and easy to understand guidance of regulations that apply todecommissioning work, from operators and stakeholders to suppliers.

It details the necessary procedures for operators and duty holders to plan, execute, and follow-up decommissioning work and helps them comply with the relevant legislation.

Paul Shrieve, chief executive North Sea Offshore Operations and Marine and Offshore operations director, said: “Bureau Veritas decommissioning services cover all types of assets in an offshore field, whether platforms are floating or fixed.”
