MUSCAT, Oman –Reliance Industries Ltd.'s Reliance Exploration and Production DMCC has signed a production sharing agreement with Oman for deepwater block 41.
The block exceeds 20,000 sq km (7,722 sq mi) with water depths up to 3,000 m (9,842 ft).
Block 41 is adjacent to acreage awarded to RIL in 2005 and RIL says it expects to integrate operations over the two holdings.
